Academia María Reina

Academia María Reina is Puerto Rico's premiere bilingual Catholic college preparatory 7th-12th grade school for girls. The school was founded in 1966 by progressive nuns dedicated to the advancement of women through education.  We are one of four sister schools sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Brentwood, New York. Through a holistic educational approach, the school empowers young women to pursue excellence to become courageous, compassionate and ethical leaders; agents of local and global transformation, as well as defenders of justice through service.

In 1989, the institution received the Excellence in Education award from the Council of American Private Education.
