PROGRAMS
WORLD LANGUAGE PROGRAM
Academia María Reina offers two world language programs: French and Italian. Both languages are taught in total immersion, where students communicate and receive instruction only in the target language. AMR has received a Program of Distinction Award in World Languages conferred by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
FRENCH
French is offered in two programs: a four-year and a six-year program. The six-year program culminates in an Advanced Placement French Language and Culture course. Students that successfully approve the AP examination for this course can obtain college credits.
ITALIAN
The Italian program at AMR is a four-year program that culminates in an Advanced Placement Italian Language and Culture course. Students that successfully approve the AP examination for this course can obtain college credits. The results of AMR students in this examination have been consistently excellent.
